Kevin Talma joined the organisation in 1996, under the guidance of Deryck Murray the former lead drummer with organisation. He sucessfully completed the Cultural Training Centre(CTC) drumming programme and graduated as the number one student. Not limiting himself to the jembe drum, in 1997 Kevin attended a NCF congo drumming workshop conducted by Wayne" Poonka" Willock. Kevin's' keen interest in drumming can be seen when he comes to rehearsals and is eager to show the lead drummer what he has picked up from someone locally or internationally.
Kevin has performed on the hotel arena and several local shows; he has also performed internationally in Germany and Canada. Kevin is part of the drumming contingent and can be seen every Thursday night as part of the cast performing at the award winning dinner show "1627 and all that".
Kevin is the Director of Talma Mill Studios a landscape/ architecture and environmental planning firm.
